Proofing Systems

Mossberg’s pre-press department employs state-of-the-art proofing systems that provide customers with the truest possible simulation of their printed document. Once you’ve approved your proofs, which are calibrated to our presses, the same files that created them will be used to create the plates. Our press operators then will do everything possible to match what you saw on your proofs.

• Fuji Luxel FinalProof 5600 is a high-resolution dot-based proof that’s ideal for your color critical images. FinalProofs also can be generated on the actual stock that will be used on press.
• Epson 9800 is an inkjet proof that’s perfect for those “pleasing color” projects that might not require the quality of a dot-based proof.
• Techsage SpinJet 1000 proofs are created to demonstrate the final sizing, configuration and copy treatment of the printed document.

In addition, Mossberg is proud to provide proofreading services on conventionally printed projects regardless of their scope. Before composite proofs are created, our full-time proofreaders identify potential grammar, syntax or consistency issues, and often provide alternative ways to position a message to help customers avoid embarrassment.
