At every present moment, we’re connected to our past.
Our founding.
Certain historical details have a way of opening your eyes to the here and now. To offer a clear perspective on who we are today, we begin with this foundational fact: In 1930 (just a mere handful of months after the stock market crash of 1929), Herman T. Mossberg opened our doors.
Clearly, anyone launching a business as the Great Depression loomed ahead had to possess rare qualities. Among them, optimism, inventiveness, and never settling for anything less than perfection.
While significant additions have been made to the commercial printing services we established over 80 years ago in South Bend, Indiana, the Mossberg legacy remains. Resolve, ingenuity, and respect for our craft still help to define and differentiate us today.
Moving forward.
To some, Mossberg is a venerable institution. To others, a progressive partner with an eye on the future. We find it more than plausible to be both. As a case in point, we turn to another historical touchstone.
In 1991, legendary designer, Paul Rand, gave us a new (and still current) company logo. It was a gesture of thanks for collaboration dating back decades. Many of Rand’s works were proudly produced here.
In Mossberg, Rand found an ideal partner and kindred spirit. His designs were progressive and ground-breaking. He also proved to be a stickler for details. It’s no different for our clients today.
Today, we work with flexible films for specialty labels and packaging. We employ digital technologies and systems for marketing campaigns and e-commerce. We’re active in highly regulated industries like pharma, finance, sweepstakes, and promotions.
Mossberg. At this moment.
“Precisely” remains our watchword. And, we continue to go beyond mastery of ink and paper to forge new areas of expertise in a variety of areas. Precisely, those areas that are crucial for your success in today’s constantly changing communications landscape.
